The kinesiology tape Leonidov Rayon is based on rayon fibre It has a sinusoidal adhesive layer of acrylic adhesive like the classic kinesiological tapes, but a much higher adhesive force. The synthetic material of the tape feels silky and has a lower coefficient of friction against cotton. This reduces the friction force when wearing the tape under the clothing. The result is that the tape edges tend to "roll" less. So the tape sticks longer. Particularly clear is the advantage of the Leonidov Rayon Tapes in multi-layered tapes on highly stressed areas such as knee or ankle. Due rayon can not absorb water, these tapes are not so wet after the shower or bath as with the cotton tapes. Therefore the tape is almost dry after dabbing with the bath towel. Furthermore, the elasticity and the tensile force have been increased with this tape, so that the effect is more intense.
